Calendula
Also known as “pot marigold,” heirloom calendula’s familiar orange and yellow blossoms will last from late fall through winter in mild climates, through spring and midsummer in colder locations. Double blossoms can be 2-1/2 inches to 4 inches across. Start in flats for early season flowering or sow directly in garden. Sun-loving. Gorgeous in patio pots.
